With a little over a week before the NFL season commences, SOS wanted to give you a primer for any of your upcoming fantasy drafts. Whether snake or auction, ten or twelve teams, flex or no flex, take a look to see how to best prepare for draft night.

Albert Haynesworth doesn't like to practice. Who does? Not Allen Iverson. But I can imagine the conversation in the locker room between Fat Albert and the trainers and his agent went something like this.

Who are you more sick of? I can't really decide. The past 48 hours has been a heavyweight bout between these two for media attention. It's absurd how annoying these two men can be. They are in opposite sports and 15 years apart, complete opposites, black and white, and yet they make me tingle.

Tonight I’ve been asked to help a friend draft his fantasy football team. He’s never had a fantasy football team before, knows almost nothing about the game and possesses absolutely no athletic ability whatsoever. So how he even came to be involved in this league, I still haven’t discerned. Regardless, I feel obligated to help the kid out, and it has inspired this week’s Top 10.

Skip is back!
To (hopefully) much fanfare, I’m announcing my return to Sorts of Sports.  Mr. Carmona has been pestering me for most of the past two years (during none of which have I have seen him in person) to get back to writing on a semi-regular basis. This morning I checked out SOS and realized that, outside of an NFC North preview that I cobbled together after a dozen or so Natty Boh’s, I hadn’t written anything for the site in nearly 18 months.
So, I’m back. For awhile anyway. And I’m marking my return with a Top 10 list – in this case, the Top 10 Reasons why I’m ecstatic that NFL Training Camps Have opened (and the season is near). Maybe it’ll be a running series?
