5 Ways Favre's Retirement Could Be Worse
Honestly, no one’s going to know for sure until the day Brett’s pushing up daisies… and it’s hard to be convinced when we’re hearing things like “Teammates got a text saying ‘This is it.’” I mean, are we really going to trust a bunch of guys who’d struggle to spell ‘pass interference’ to analyze the NFL’s most indecisive player ever?

AFC South 2010 Draft Recap
Editors Note: When we start something at SortsofSports.com we try to finish it. Teddy gives us the AFC South Recap.
When you think of the AFC South, you think of the Indianapolis Colts and their dominance over the division since its existence in 2002. The Colts are not only the defending division champs, but they are the defending AFC Conference champs as well. It’s always fun to watch and see if one of the other 3 teams in the division can give the Colts a run for their money. It’s happened a few times before. The Titans have won the division a few times and the Jaguars have had playoff runs, but the Texans may be the team to watch in 2010. Let’s see what each team did in the draft to improve themselves…

AFC North 2010 Draft Recap
Editor's Note: Teddy is continuing his extensive Draft Recap.
Last season, the Cincinnati Bengals came out of nowhere to win the AFC North. They did it in convincing fashion by sweeping all 6 division games. The big question in 2010 is: can the Bengals repeat or are they a one-hit wonder? I’m a strong believer that the Bengals would have knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs back in the 2005 Divisional Round had Carson Palmer not been knocked out on the first play of the game. The team’s offense was so explosive in 2005. Add on a couple of elbow injuries for Palmer, and you can see why the Bengals have underachieved in the past few seasons. Did they stock up on enough talent to compete for back to back division titles? Did the Ravens and Steelers add enough to reclaim their power positions? Did new GM Mike Holmgren do enough for the Cleveland Browns so they can compete? Let’s take a look…

AFC East 2010 Draft Recap
There’s nothing like a little NFL Draft action to whet a die-hard football fan’s appetite. The 2010 edition did not lack in the surprise department and for the first time, the Draft was seen in Prime Time. It was a smart move by Roger Goodell in my opinion. To some NFL fans, the Draft is a national holiday alongside the Super Bowl. Presenting the first round of the draft on Prime Time was a great way to gain more exposure and satisfy the NFL fans.
Before I begin my draft recap and break down each division’s picks, I must send out a huge congratulations to a good friend of mine that got drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 7th round. Sean Lissemore, whom I played offensive line alongside at Dumont (NJ.) High School, was drafted out of William and Mary College by the Dallas Cowboys in the 7th round. Lissemore had received work-outs from many teams (including the hometown Giants and Jets) but was not invited to the combine. Had he been invited, his times and numbers would have ranked right up there in the top 5 of defensive lineman. I wish Sean nothing but the best and much success. More on him when I get to my NFC East Draft recap. Let’s kick this off with the AFC’s version of the East.
