We live in a world where ESPN sites tweets by athletes and columnists. Twitter has become a reliable source for news and entertainment for some. Then along came Washington Post columnist, Mike Wise. He simply tweeted: "Roethlisberger will get five games, I'm told."

Albert Haynesworth doesn't like to practice. Who does? Not Allen Iverson. But I can imagine the conversation in the locker room between Fat Albert and the trainers and his agent went something like this.

Who are you more sick of? I can't really decide. The past 48 hours has been a heavyweight bout between these two for media attention. It's absurd how annoying these two men can be. They are in opposite sports and 15 years apart, complete opposites, black and white, and yet they make me tingle.

Not Jaguars

You don't put your horns upside down and get away with it in front of Vince Young. Clearly he went to the wrong club. Had he gone to Jaguars none of this would have happened.

Stop Hating on Brady

E-mail Print PDF

Why am I talking about football in June? I could care less about football right now. There is no draft, no preseason games, no regular season games, no nothing that matters to anyone. So why is Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports talking about football?

Basically in this story (which is way too long) Silver goes on about how Brady and the Patriots have not talked contracted and that Brady is going into his last year of his contract and it could be a sign of things to come. So, let me get this straight; if I want to  be a national sports writer, I just have to state the obvious (Brady is going into his final year of his contract) and then blow it out of proportion (Brady is in LA with his family, OMFG).
